16 years ago, Smitha was inspired by a vision to build a company that would preserve the precious memories of the Spartanburg community. Over the years, she gathered a team of like-minded individuals who shared his passion for capturing these once-in-a-lifetime moments. Located in Spartanburg, SC, a small town with great potential, the editing team collaborated with partners based in Lagos, Nigeria, to deliver the best possible results.
Many families in Spartanburg were celebrating weddings, but they often found themselves disappointed with the final product of their special events. Smitha's own mother had experienced this frustration firsthand. At her wedding, the photographer, working alone, had missed many crucial moments. In particular, the joining of Smitha's new father had been poorly documented, with many photos of him getting ready simply missing.
That day, Smitha had a vision. With a natural affinity for the creative side of photography, he decided that he would one day create his own team to ensure that no moment would ever be missed again.
And that is why the Smithalee Family team has grown so large. This dedicated group of professionals, from a full-time makeup artist to different creative directors and stylists. This team is committed to ensuring that both parties' cherished memories at any event are captured in their entirety, preserving them for years to come.
